At our farms we know that respect for nature and the surrounding ecosystem, and the preservation of the resources that the valley offers us, combined with balanced production through sustainable management, are the only way to ensure the future.
Organic production
Respect and care for what is natural.
Our olive groves are organically produced because we respect natural life cycles, favoring soil protection and using techniques that reduce environmental impact and respect wildlife.
We take care of our olive groves and treat young and centenary olive trees using a low-intervention system, without the use of herbicides or synthetic agrochemicals and without tilling the soil, in full compliance with organic farming standards.

• We maintain our centenary rainfed olive groves
• We plant new olive groves with a highly efficient localized drip irrigation system, where deficit irrigation is practiced, below the crop’s real needs
• We don’t mobilize the soil; it is kept permanently covered with spontaneous native vegetation, controlled by mowing
• Low-intervention system, without the use of herbicides or synthetic agrochemicals
• Use of biodegradable products
• Biological pest control
• Creation of permanent and seasonal employment, helping people to settle in the region

Why is that our olive oil its special?
The Mondego Valley is the perfect setting for producing excellent olive oil. The olive grove offers us the best olives which, through modern techniques and vast knowledge acquired over many years of olive oil production, could only create one of the best olive oils in the world.
